This policy explains what data Vidyara collects, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the product well.
1. What we collect
Account details (name, mobile number, email), learning and activity data (enrolments, progress, practice and game play), content you post or send (questions, answers, messages, and photos or files you upload), and — for teachers and institutes — verification and payment information. Payment card details are handled by our payment partner, not stored by us.
On our public website we use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and show us which pages are useful. It reports how the site is used as a whole, not who you are, and you can block it in your browser’s cookie settings.
2. How we use it
To provide and personalise your learning experience, process payments securely, keep accounts safe, and communicate important updates. Sensitive verification data is stored encrypted.
3. Sharing
We share data only as needed to run the service — for example with payment and infrastructure providers — and as required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Your choices
You can access and update your profile and manage notifications at any time. You can delete your account yourself from Settings → Delete account in the app, or from the account deletion page on this website. Some records may be retained where required for legal or accounting reasons.
5. Students under 18
Many Vidyara students are under 18. If you are under 18, please use Vidyara with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian. We collect only what is needed to run a learning account, and we never sell student data. A parent or guardian can ask us to review or delete the account of a child at any time, through in-app Support or the contact page on this website.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption for sensitive fields and secure payment processing. No system is perfectly secure, so please protect your login.
