Open Messages to see all your chats. New messages arrive in real time, with unread counts.
01Kinds of chats
| Chat | Who can post | How you join |
|---|---|---|
| One-to-one | Both of you | Choose Message teacher on a course, Message on a profile, or Find teachers in Messages. |
| Course or batch group | Everyone in it | Automatically when you enrol. |
| Announcements | Only the teacher or institute | Automatically when you enrol. |
02In a chat
- Send images and PDFs.
- Type @ to mention someone — they get a notification.
- Forward a message to another chat.
- Leave group if you don’t want to be in it — the owner can add you back later.
03Unwanted messages?
Open the ⋮ menu in the chat and choose Report or Block. A blocked person can’t message you, and the chat disappears for both of you. Report and block
