The Face-Off is a small daily moment of suspense. You commit to an answer — no take-backs — see how the crowd leaned, and come back in the evening to find out who was right.

After you lock, you see the crowd split.

01How a Face-Off works

    Your teachers post their picks

    Each teacher you’re connected to can post one question a day. You get a notification when they do, and a reminder in the morning.

    Pick your answer

    Open Face-Off from the menu. Tap a teacher’s photo at the top to see just their round, or scroll through all of them.

    Lock it

    Tap LOCK IT. “Locked in — no take-backs.” You can’t change it after this.

    See the crowd split

    Right after locking you see what percentage chose each option — but not the answer.

    9 PM: the reveal

    At 9 PM India time the answers and explanations are revealed. A teacher can also reveal early. You’ll get a notification when the reveal is live.

03Points and streaks

  • Locking a Face-Off answer keeps your daily streak alive — right or wrong.
  • The Face-Off doesn’t pay Dopamine. It’s for fun, bragging rights and learning.
  • The next day, a card in your feed shows how many you got right and how you compared with other players.

04No Face-Off today?

If none of your teachers posted a pick today, the Face-Off screen is empty. Connect with more teachers to get more rounds.

05Common questions

Can I change my answer after locking?

No. Locking is final — that’s what makes the reveal exciting. If the teacher edits the question, existing answers are cleared and you’re notified so you can lock again.

What time is the reveal?

9 PM India time (IST), every day. A teacher can reveal their own round earlier.

I missed today’s Face-Off. Can I still play?

Once a round is revealed, you can’t lock an answer on it any more. But choice rounds move into the practice feed after the reveal.
