01Create a test
- 1
New test
Give it a title, pick the course(s) it belongs to, and set the duration (30 minutes by default).
- 2
Add questions
Choose a type, write it, set the marks, optional negative marks and topic tags.
- 3
Publish
The checklist needs at least one question and a duration. After publishing, questions are locked.
02Question types
| Type | How it’s marked |
|---|---|
| Multiple choice (one answer) | Automatically |
| Multiple choice (several answers) | Automatically — all right options needed |
| Numerical | Automatically, within the ± tolerance you set |
| Written | By you, in Grade answers |
03The question bank
Every question you write is saved to your bank. Use Reuse a saved question to add it to another test without retyping.
04Results
- Each student gets one attempt; the timer submits automatically.
- Objective questions are marked on submit. Wrong answers lose the negative marks you set; skipped ones score zero.
- Written answers wait in Grade answers — give marks and optional feedback.
- The test Leaderboard shows each student’s rank and percentile.
- To let a student retake, delete their attempt.
- Deleting a test: if nobody has taken it, it’s removed. If students have, it’s hidden from you and closed to new attempts — but students keep their result, marked “Deleted by teacher”.
