Open Mock Exams in the left menu. Unlike a course’s Test series, these are open to every student. The page opens on For you: exams made for what you’re preparing for — the goals you picked or typed at sign-up (JEE, NEET, IBPS PO, GPSC, Talati…) and your class — and, below them, suggestions: exams that fit your Class 11–12 stream, practise your weak subjects or cover your subjects, or come from a teacher whose course you’re in, who you follow, or whose exam you took. Exams you’ve already taken move to the end. Each card says why it was picked, and Edit at the top changes your goals. Each shows who runs it, the time, the questions and marks, and when it’s open — Open anytime, Live or Opens at a set time. Exams from Vidyara carry an Official Vidyara mock badge.

Looking for a particular one? Type in the search box beside the tabs — the exam’s name, what it prepares for, a section (Reasoning, Polity…) or the teacher or institute that runs it. The search at the top of every page finds mock exams too: they show under Mock Exams in its suggestions, and as a Mock exams tab on the search results.

01Before you start

  • The exam’s page shows each section with its marking — for example +4 for a right answer and −1 for a wrong one.
  • Read the examiner’s instructions and the short Before you start tiles, then tick the box to agree and press Start exam — it sits on the right, beside the instructions.
  • A fixed-time exam closes on time: if you start late, you get only the time left until it closes.
  • Some exams are paid — the price shows on the exam. Press Buy on its page and pay with Razorpay; it’s yours to take once (you can buy before it opens, too). If the page loses track after you pay, it catches up on its own within a few seconds.

02The exam screen

ButtonWhat it does
Save & NextSaves your answer as answered and moves to the next question — if the question was marked for review, the mark comes off. On the last question it reads Save & Submit: it saves your answer and shows the submit summary, where you can still go back.
Mark for Review & NextSaves your answer (if you chose one), flags the question to come back to, and moves on.
★ Mark for reviewFlags or unflags the question you’re on, keeping your choice. A flag stays until you take it off or press Save & Next on it.
Clear ResponseRemoves your saved answer to the question.
Back / NextMoves without saving — as in the real exam, a choice you didn’t save is not kept.
Submit examShows what you’ve answered in each section, then submits.

The question palette on the right shows every question: grey — not visited; red outline — not answered; green — answered; purple — marked for review; purple with a green dot — answered and marked (it is evaluated).

  • The timer is kept by Vidyara’s server. Reloading the page or switching computers continues the same exam with the same time left — it never adds time.
  • You get warnings with 10, 5 and 1 minute left. At zero, the exam is submitted with your saved answers — even if you closed the laptop.
  • If the connection drops, keep going: the top bar says it is reconnecting, and your answers are saved as soon as it’s back.

03Your result

  • Your score, rank among everyone who took it, and percentile (the share of candidates who scored the same or less).
  • Right, wrong and unanswered counts, accuracy, time taken, and a section-by-section score.
  • Every question with your answer, the right one, the solution and the time you spent on it.
  • Some fixed-time exams show results only once they close — you’ll get a notification when they’re out.
