Tests live in the Test series tab of a course (or a batch’s courses). Each one shows its questions, marks and time, with Start test, Resume or View result.

Your result: score, rank, percentile and a breakdown of every answer.

01Taking a test

  1. 1

    Start test

The timer starts. Answers save as you go.

  2. 2

    Answer the questions

Questions can be single-answer, multiple-answer, a number, or a written answer. The palette shows Answered, Current and Unanswered.

  3. 3

    Watch the clock

You get a warning with 5 minutes left and again at 1 minute. At zero the test submits itself.

  4. 4

    Review and submit

“Review before you submit” — you can’t change answers afterwards.

02How it’s marked

  • Multiple-choice and number questions are marked instantly.
  • Multiple-answer questions need every right option — it’s all or nothing.
  • Number answers are right within the range your teacher allows.
  • Some tests take marks off for wrong answers (negative marking). Skipped questions score zero.
  • Written answers wait for your teacher to mark them: “Submitted — awaiting teacher grading.”

03Your result

  • Your score, how much was auto-graded, your percentile and your rank among everyone who took it.
  • Every question marked Correct, Incorrect or Awaiting teacher grading, with your teacher’s note.
  • If your teacher chose to show results later, you’ll see the details once they’re released.
  • If a teacher deletes a test you already took, you keep your result — it’s marked Deleted by teacher. An unfinished attempt on a deleted test can’t be resumed.
