Doubts & Discussion is Vidyara’s question board. Anyone can ask, anyone can answer, and helpful answers earn their authors Dopamine through upvotes.

The board: filter by Needs help, Answered or Solved.
A doubt with answers, votes and replies.

01Ask a doubt

  1. 1

    Choose “Ask a doubt”

On the Doubts & Discussion page.

  2. 2

    Write your question

One clear line, up to 180 characters. Add a description if you need more room.

  3. 3

    Add a photo

Optional — a photo of the problem helps a lot.

  4. 4

    Add hashtags

At least one, like physics or kinematics. They help the right people find it.

  5. 5

    Post doubt

You’ll be notified when someone answers.

02Answer and reply

  • Anyone signed in can answer — students, teachers and institutes. Each answer shows a Student or Teacher label.
  • Choose Reply to discuss an answer. Replies can go back and forth.
  • Type @ to mention someone in the thread. They get a notification.
  • You can edit or delete your own doubts, answers and replies.

03Votes

Vote up or down on the doubt itself and on every answer and reply. You can take a vote back. Votes decide what rises — and they pay Dopamine to the author:

Votes on one postDopamine for the author
5 upvotes+0.5
50 upvotes+5
5 downvotes−0.5
50 downvotes−5

A post is worth its highest level only — 60 upvotes is +5, not +5.5. Your own vote never counts.

04Mark it solved

When you have your answer, choose Mark solved and write a short closing message (“Thanks, that cleared it up!”). The discussion closes. If you need more help later, choose Mark open.

05Find doubts to answer

  • Filter by All, Needs help, Answered or Solved.
  • Use My subjects to see doubts in what you study, or My doubts for your own.
  • Sort by For you, Newest, Most answered or Oldest.
