01Access options

Each pricing tier is a price plus how long access lasts — for example ₹1,499 for 365 days. Add as many as you like (a 90-day and a 365-day option, say).

  • Monthly option — switch it on and “students pay this price every month instead of once.” Each payment gives one more month; students can cancel any time.
  • Minimum price — the editor shows it as you type. It grows with your total video length, to cover streaming.
  • Free courses aren’t available to teachers — every course needs a price above ₹0.
Add a tier and the Earnings Preview shows what you take home.

02What you earn

Vidyara keeps a small video fee and a platform commission from each sale. The Earnings Preview next to your prices shows exactly what you take home from each option, before you publish.

03Publish

Choose Publish. A course can go live once:

  • Your credentials are approved.
  • It has at least one active pricing tier.
  • Every tier is at or above the minimum price (it can rise as you add videos).

Your first three courses

Your first three courses get a quick quality check: “Submitted for admin review.” If anything needs fixing, the course comes back to draft with a note. After three, publishing is instant.

04After publishing

  • Your course appears in Discover and search, and on your profile.
  • Share the course link in your WhatsApp groups and classes.
  • You can keep adding lessons. Unpublishing hides it from new students; existing students keep access.
  • A course always needs a price: its only pricing tier can’t be deleted or switched off.

05Common questions

Can I change the price later?

Yes. Price changes apply to new purchases; students who already bought keep what they paid for.

Why can’t I publish?

The Publish button says what’s missing: approval, a pricing tier, or a price below the minimum.
